The Bow Valley Nationals unleashed a relentless offensive attack from the opening puck drop, outshooting the Angels Pro Hockey by a staggering 54-10 margin on their way to a decisive 5-2 victory. The Nationals set the tone early, dominating the first period with 16 shots to the Angels' 1. Their pressure paid off when Emma Ward (#29) opened the scoring at 18:51 of the first, assisted by Evra Slanisky (#81). Khloe Parks (#63) doubled the lead just over four minutes later with an unassisted effort, sending the Nationals into the first intermission firmly in control. The Angels found a brief spark early in the second period when Olivia Lockridge (#19) scored just 33 seconds in, cutting the deficit to 2-1 with assists from Kadence Mortson (#28) and Addison Dupuis (#12). However, the Nationals quickly snuffed out any momentum, responding with a three-goal barrage in under eight minutes. Kaitlin Ringrose (#6), Evra Slanisky (#81), and Leah Cann (#9) all found the back of the net, with Slanisky's goal coming just 26 seconds after Ringrose's, to blow the game open at 5-1.
Despite the lopsided shot count, Angels goaltender Jordan Fillenberg (#31) faced an incredible volume of rubber, making 47 saves on 51 shots through 53 minutes of work before giving way to Charlee Munro (#35) for the final stretch. The Angels managed to capitalize on a power play late in the second period after a Nationals penalty for checking behind. Isabella Goertzen (#73) scored with Addison Dupuis (#12) picking up her second helper of the night, making it 5-2. The third period saw the Nationals continue their territorial dominance, firing 21 more shots on goal, but the Angels' penalty kill, tested by two minors to Jada Chenoweth (#6), held firm to prevent further damage. For the Nationals, Sophia Condie (#1) earned the win in net, facing a light workload as her team's offense did the heavy lifting. The disciplined yet aggressive play from Bow Valley, led by multi-point efforts from Jordyn Dumont (#13) and Addison Dupuis for the Angels, proved too much to overcome as they skated to a convincing road win.
