The Langley Leafs - Major delivered a commanding performance on the road, blanking the Angels Pro Hockey 3-0 in a game defined by their relentless offensive pressure and a rock-solid defensive effort. From the opening puck drop, the Leafs set the tone, outshooting the Angels 10-0 in the first period. Their early dominance paid off when Olivia Bath, assisted by Meeya Gerbrandt and Mazie Sayeed, found the back of the net at the 5:54 mark to give Langley a lead they would never relinquish. Angels goaltender Charlee Munro was under siege from the start, facing a barrage of 37 shots over the course of the game.
The second period saw the Angels finally generate some offense, firing 11 shots on goal, but they could not solve Langley's goaltender Nyla Sochan. The Leafs, however, continued to capitalize. After a boarding penalty to Meeya Gerbrandt and a subsequent roughing minor to Charlotte Severin, the Angels' Brynlee Anderson took a roughing penalty of her own. On the ensuing power play, Zoe Alook, with an assist from Abbie Labelle, doubled Langley's lead to 2-0. The Angels' penalty kill was tested again in the third period when Claire Pederson took a hooking minor, but their power play units were unable to break through Sochan's perfect night.
Langley sealed the victory midway through the final frame when Teagan Lai, with helpers from Meeya Gerbrandt and Mazie Sayeed—who each notched their second assists of the night—scored to make it 3-0. The story of the game, however, was the stellar shutout performance by Nyla Sochan. Facing 18 total shots, she turned away every one to secure the win and the clean sheet for the Leafs. Despite a valiant 60-minute effort from Charlee Munro in the Angels' net, who made 34 saves on 37 shots, her team's offense could not provide any support, resulting in a decisive victory for the visiting Langley Leafs.
