In a lopsided intrasquad clash between the Langley Leafs Major and Minor squads, the Major team delivered a commanding 9-1 victory, showcasing a relentless offensive attack from start to finish. The Major squad set the tone early, with Nicola Levesque opening the scoring midway through the first period. She then doubled the lead just minutes later, netting what would stand as the game-winning goal, assisted by Liana-Maree Russo and Claire Pederson. Despite a brief response from the Minor team's Meeya Gerbrandt in the second period, assisted by AP Gia Kalirao, the Major squad was just getting started. They erupted for two quick goals from Zoe Alook to close the second frame, taking a 4-1 lead and never looking back.
The third period was a complete offensive showcase for the Major team, who poured in five unanswered goals to turn the game into a rout. Olivia Bath and Zoe Alook connected twice more, with Alook completing a hat-trick. Nicola Levesque also completed her hat-trick, while Teagan Lai and Cienna Manhas added singles to cap off the scoring. The Major squad's offensive pressure was immense, outshooting their Minor counterparts 43 to 14 over the course of the game. Goaltender Nyla Sochan earned the win for the Major team, while Aleena Mertin faced a barrage of shots in the Minor net.
Penalties were sparse but did little to slow the Major team's momentum. The Minor squad was assessed for Too Many Men and a hooking call on Sofia Triplett, while the Major team's Mazie Sayeed took a Check Behind minor. The story of the game, however, was the seamless offensive chemistry of the Major squad, led by standout performances from hat-trick heroes Nicola Levesque and Zoe Alook, and playmaker Claire Pederson, who tallied three assists. It was a definitive statement of depth and firepower from the Langley Leafs' top-tier squad.
