FSL Hosts First Full Showcase
The Female Sports League (FSL) launched its first full showcase over the weekend, featuring over 250 talented female players in the 12U and 14U divisions. The 12U games took place in Cochrane, AB, while the 14U teams competed at the Silent Ice Center in Edmonton. The weekend included 28 games filled with competitive matchups and impressive goaltending, highlighted by three exciting shootout finishes.
This event not only highlighted rising stars in female hockey but also showcased the depth of talent in Western Canada. The games revealed the skills of these young athletes as they faced off against top competitors from neighboring provinces.
As part of its inaugural season, all FSL games are available to stream for free on SilentIceTV.com. Fans are encouraged to tune in for the upcoming games this weekend at the Morinville Silent Ice Gardens. With more competitions approaching, the FSL is off to a promising start, providing a vital platform for young female hockey players to develop their skills and gain invaluable experience on the ice.
